To know who else are using our Wi-Fi

To know who else are using our Wi-Fi

Now Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) has become one of main source of Internet. Because of its portablility and more over our device's battery  get automatically charged.

While using a public Wi-Fi service there will be many users in the same network itself. Here are some methods to know who all are using the same public/private Wi-Fi service. Sometimes it could be very helpful to check whether anyone is stealing our personal network.

In Computer:

Using command

Step 1 - Connect to the same network which you want to check it.
Press “ Wind + R” and then type cmd, press Enter key.

Step 2 - Type net view
This shows you only a list of devices connected to the wifi with their PC name.

Step 3 - Type arp -a

It gives you a list of all devices connected to the Wi-Fi with their IP address and Mac address along with their state (dynamic / static).
This command will not show the name of the PC.

Step 4 - Type netstat -ano

Helps you to know whether someone else is using your PC or looking up what you are doing.

When you enter the command in the command window in “state” column you find “Established” it means someone has entered your PC for that just see PID number beside “state”  column ,note that PID and go to task manager from there Details tab . There you find PID column if you see the same PID present there you can confirm that somebody entered your PC. (Note: Sometimes you find “Established” in state column of CMD window that is because when some applications of Your PC use Internet then you get “Established”).Generally most of the times you find “established” , whenever you get doubt you should check for the same PID in task manager.

Using SOFTWARE'S:
